Porcelain Arrester

Porcelain arrester is a lightning arrester with good protection performance.Using the good nonlinear volt-ampere characteristic of zinc oxide, the current flowing through the arrester is very small (microamperes or milliamperes) at the normal working voltage.When the overvoltage action, the resistance drops sharply, leakage of voltage energy, to achieve the effect of protection.The difference between this kind of arrester and the traditional arrester is that it has no discharge gap and plays the role of discharge and break by using the nonlinear characteristics of zinc oxide.
